Pure was founded by Dr. Charis James, a board-certified Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine physician with over 11 years of experience, out of a desire to deliver healthcare the way it should be: personalized, patient-centered, and unhurried. Frustrated by the constraints of the traditional insurance model, which often limits the time doctors can spend with patients, Dr. James created Pure to give people the care they truly need and deserve.
